Every one who bought tickets with Tickemaster in the UK for the now Cancelled (due to obvious reasons) Michael Jackson UK tour will more than likely get their money back.
What happens to the Ebay punters who have paid over the odds for them sometimes £1000's
Where do they stand from a legal perspective.
Just a thought

i thought ebay had an understanding with ticket issuers that they wouldnt re-sell tickets? ( maybe not this time? ) i know when i booked a year in advance for WWE we didnt get the tickets in 2 days before for this very reason-no reselling

I didn't know that Shelagh just shows you I'm not up to speed on these things.
So its not an immediate transaction, its mearly a pending transaction.
Hmmm
Is this what you mean

i really don`t know, maybe in this case tickets have been issued, but i would like to know whos going to be held responsible for refunds,as a buyer i would hold ebay accountable

edited to add it was ticket master we bought from,so maybe there s a few bits of info missing from the sellers description :/

So that said Ebay..... would become liable for refunds, I cant really see them leaving themselves open to such, I'm sure they must be air tight when it comes to legal matters

yeah me too to be honest :/ i often find that when i browse ticket sales, its often just a sitting area ( prob copied off the back of the area leaflet) that is shown. i wouldnt want to be a seller that has just splashed out on a mraine tank with the proceeds

Just had a wee look and no matter what way you type your search for MJ tickets, nothing comes up
So either they removed all traces already or They dont advertise tickets any more
but then again I've just typed in Bruce Springsteen tickets and there's any amount to be had
Strange

maybe its because michael jackson is dead?
I think I've gathered that by now. Doh!
The object of the exercise was to see if Ebay had placed any comments surrounding the concert tickets to alay any fears their punters may have about their money

I wonder more about any that are still running - bidding is legally committing to buying isnt it?

Well I assume that the ticket master will give a refund but only what they sold the tickets for. The people that were dumb enough to buy tickets off ebay are SOL.

Just said on BBC news that if anyone payed via paypal on ebay they will be refunded.
