Melafix/myxazin

Hi All,
A friend of mine was recently recommended by his lfs to use Melafix for a sore that his Angel had developed.

I always use Myzaxin in my tank for sores and scratches etc.

Which is better?

Melafix is a herbal remedy, very good for healing minor injuries but not effective for serious bacterial infections. Myxazin lowers the bacterial count to counteract bacterial infections. it's a bit like the difference between using antiseptics (melafix) or antibiotics (myxazin).
