Adeyc. Your first link has a picture of my fish. He was just called a spotted pleco when I got him 2 years ago. He is even about that size or a little bigger. Doesn't have a hand comin out his mouth though
Mine can always be found hiding under a piece of wood. He seems to prefer wood to rocks or any other hard surface.

I managed to get a decent look at the darn fish today.
it's a sandy yello/brown colour. dark brown/black large spots and a striped tail(vertical to the fish). It has a flat wide head with black eyes and a pointy nose/face(quite long) and a high pec' fin with blurred spots. i've trawled the net untill my brains numb and still can't find the d##n thing.
