Meet my new friends Parotocinclus jumbo or pittbull/goby pleco
After hunting the whole of the north i found some just under 30miles away from Leeds at viscum water gardens in Doncaster
so i had a trip over after work they only had 2 in and after a long look we decided they was 99% Mr pittbull and Mrs Goby <----- :hyper:
anyway they are getting some more so in soon, and im going to get a few more so if there not Mr & Mrs we can sort it out later
so here is the best photo i could get so far:

on the list thanks :)
P@H apparently sell them but not near me they do near minnnt at nots
So worth a ring round they are tank bred from p@h reflects the price

Mine are wild caught so I payed abit more but where I got mine tank bred are £3 each
Good luck m8

Nice looking fish, but their longish snout and the body colour makes me think they are not Parotocinclus jumbo, who have rather blunt snouts. Get some good side on photos and one showing their full underside to get a definite ID on PlanetCatfish.

The side on shots made ID a lot easier to see they were P. jumbo, your original photos made the snout look quite elongated, to me at least. But at least you know for sure now, as P. jumbo often comes in with contaminants, I've seen P.spilosoma locally mixed in last year (having looked at photos on PC last year). :)

What's the best way to feed them ? Now there settled in
I've got some spirulina tablets not sure when to put them in though I've just put one in to see what happens

Any advice is welcome
