All a bit unexpected and probably too early. Noticed them hanging from one of the females this morning! Never had eggs before in one of my tanks!
They only went into the 120L main tank on Xmas eve morning after 25 days quarantine. I’ve broken the 25L QT tank down as it’s to be ebayed. All the QTs live plants went into the main tank with them, so there an abundance of guppy grass, frogbit, water lettuce and optional floating or anchored down plants that are floating in there until there transferred over to a 10G in a few days time.
The 25L QT tanks position in spare bedroom is to be taken by a 10G Heterandria Formosa species tank which I intended to start silent cycling using the floating plants that the Medaka eggs are now no doubt stuck too. Twas gonna start on NYD with a journal on here. Once that’s cycled the HFs were gonna be netted from main tank with as ltttle plant removal as possible.....yeah right.

Plans now in the air.
Do I stick to original plan? Would any eggs transferred to new tank for silent cycling (seeded media, rocks, wood, plants) have a chance of hatching?
Do i silent cycle with new plants and seeded media, rocks, wood etc leaving eggs in 120L tank with Medaka, Guppies, WCMM and HF?

If it was me and I was serious about the eggs I’d keep your 25l qtank for a while for them until yiur new 10g is cycled then put them in there until they can be put in yiur main tank or sold on
