could this stained old orniment but the reason my tank remains so healthy despit terrible mistakes and lack of care in my early days?
all!! the creatures in the tank visit this thing scrubing and nibbling at it. the stain is from the first owner of this lot, seems the fish in the tank died like flys, i find out after i bought the tank! water was nealy always blue!! to date, even though i add fish right to the tank. not any more you will be glad to hear. was wofull in my early keeping of them, i have never had to medicat the tank. and had only 2 fish die, after becoming established in the tank. both i think, with swimblader problems. just thought id ask.
the only reason its still in the tank, is that it is so popular with the incumants.
