if your looking for something that eats mice, i don't know of any fish that do this, but may i suggest a snake.
it lives in a tank like a fish, but its not a fish, and it will eat mice.

You'll need a big tank for a cat. They regularly reach 20 inches not including tail. So you're talking a 200 gallon tank for just the one. But since they're very active, and can reach over 10 inches in height I would suggest a minimum of at least 300 gallons. And it will have to be a species only tank since they won't get on with most fish.
