So will be getting a 4x2x2 120 gallon tank in month or so and would like damaSoni ive got 1 in my 20g but need to upgrade soon as i feel cruel also in the tank i would like yellow labs how many of each would i be able to have also what other fish could i have

I good mix would be Labidochromis caeruleus and pseudotropheus demasoni as the colour contrast will be sorted but i wouldn't recommend having dems if your just starting out with malawi's they can be highly aggressive species and only work well usually as a species only tank or in higher numbers. Even then you can quite easily loose the odd few due to aggression every now and then. Labs and some other less aggressive species would be ideal for you, plus you have a good size tank :good:

Yup, dems are not really a beginners fish.
Very aggressive, and should be kept in groups of 10+ ideally.
