I'd like something a little bigger than my Current 30L biOrb, but I'm unsure what to get.
The box it's on is 73cm long by 45cm wide. Any tanks you could suggest? I'd like it to have atleast 10cm at the back for the sockets for the electrics and maybe 15cm or more at the front just because. Could you suggest any?

Also, to transfer my fish, would I be able to take the water from my current tank, move the tank, put that water back in and put the fish back in it to let the new tank mature in it's place?
Thanks!

i cant comment on tanks tbh (coz lets face it there a thousands :p) just have a look around online and see which 1 catches your eye ;)
but as for the water then no you couldnt.. you would need to take some sponge from your current cycled filter and pop it into the new 1 and let the tank run to start your cycle again :good:

Ah, sorry, probably didn't phrase that right XD
To move my old tank to a different place, could I take the fish out and put them into bags, take the water out of the tank, move the tank to a new place, and then put the old water back in, then put the fish back in? It's just a need to set up the new tank in it's space to cycle it :D

You would need to cycle the tank first, before moving the fish (several days/weeks) otherwise ammonia will build up and potentially kill the fish.

Cycle the old tank again?

Yes, that sounds fine and you can use up to 1/3 of the mature biomedia in the current filter (after you move the tank) to "seed" the fishless cycle of the new tank. If the old bacteria "take" in the new filter, it can reduce your fishless cycle from up to two months to two weeks or less sometimes, but it's still quite unpredictable. It's always best to "qualify" the filter by ensuring that it can drop 5ppm of ammonia to zero ppm ammonia and zero ppm nitrite(NO2) within 12 hours of when the ammonia is dosed for a week.

Ahh, brilliant! Thank you! :)

E-'id just put sum siphoned water into a bucket and put the fish in there if ur just moving tank spaces ... shouldnt take too long? '
Noo, it won't. Hopefully that'd be okay. Plus I could put the plants in there incase any of them wanted to hide or anything xD

Ah, maybe. It's on some sort of stand so it'd be far away enough from the side, but I don't think I'd be putting an awful lot of water into the bucket as the fish will only be in if for about 5 minutes (we bought that biOrb siphon today which will make water changes much easier!) so there might not be much point anyway. :D
