Mature Filter Media

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with a kind donation of some mature filter media. I've contacted someone on the list of people willing to help in this area but they're away until the week after Easter and there doesn't appear to be anyone else on the list near me. If no-one can help directly do you know of a LFS who might be able to help. I feel a bit embarrassed asking shops directly without knowing beforehand that they're willing to help. I'm in the Eastleigh/Southampton area (Hampshire).

Not sure if it`s of any help but I am in Salisbury, Wilts.
Have got an Eheim Pro 2224 and Ecco running in the same tank. If you would like some you could collect anytime except Sunday.

Failing that, there is a Maidenhead Aquatics in Eastleigh that might be able to help.

Have you tried Tropical Paradise? It's in Boyatt Wood shopping parade near B&Q. Sorry I can't help personally as I am currently setting up a new tank.

Sorry can't help at the mo but just to let you know I am up in Fair Oak so neighbour , I'll look out for you in the future.

TIP. I used TetraAqua Bactozym......It's a sort of kick-start for new filters. They sell it at Maidenhead Aquatics. Other posters may say it's c**p but I disagree (trades discription and all that!)

Anyways, good luck with your search (and don't be afraid of asking LFS for old media, if they have some they will gladly let you have some....remember they want your future custom)
