Mature Filter Media - Wanted

I'd be happy to donate some. I used it to seed my filter and it worked in about 1 day to fully cycle my new tank and it's still in there. I live in cornwall though. I could post it next day if the cost was covered.

Oh that's great ! Thanks! I will go tomorrow to put some money in my card (I'm not a card person at the moment since I haven't got a lot to put in hehe! ). Would you be able to hold it for me until I put some money tomorrow to the bank so I could send you the money? How much would it cost for the postage?

it's a shame you're so very far away.. i've always got a sponge filter loaded and ready to go. i keep several in each of my tanks so there is always good bacteria ready to go when it's needed.

even overnight unless the water is oxygenated is dangerous, the bacteria dies quite quickly when there is no oxygen in the water. good luck!! i hope you get what you need.

I know I thought moving to Leeds means more access to more people! I was from Thetford which is quite a small town. Sometimes, I wish every one lives in Leeds !

Yeah I've never donated before so it's just sitting in my filters. Um I think next day delivery is about £6 or £6.50 something like that. Pm me if you want it, I'm no expert I do know the bacteria can die off once it's out of the filter so it's up to you whether you wanna try it. I could put it in a bag of tank water to keep it moist. I suggested next day delivery just because it would get there quick but it's up to you. I can post it first class. Either way it's there if you want it anytime. No rush as I'm just leaving it in the filters anyway.
