My first Discus was one Marlborough, then I added two Cobalt Discus and they seemed to attack it often and not eachother, so I bought another Marlborough thinking that maybe they would pair up so they would not be so stressed but the two Marlborough attack eachother. I have seven Discus now of around 3" and they all seem to go for eachother. Seven is quite alot for a Juwel 240, I want to get rid of the ugliest Marlborough Discus but was wondering if having two of the same is good for them even if they don't show it.

Adding discus after the others have already established territory is not the greatest thing. The other discus will naturally try and claim some turf of its own, which will result in fighting, and possiably stress to the point of death for the weaker discus

They really couldn't care what the other discus look like. They are all discus, the colors don't make them different. Its like breeds of dogs, they are all the same species but just look a little different.

You could try rearranging the decorations and see if that breaks up some of the aggression. Sometimes that will make them a little less territorial because they won't have set territories with the decor changed.
