HI guys im a little intrestead. Has any one actually tried one of these. They look pretty good and would be perfect for something to seperate a sick fish constant flow of fresh water aswell

I use these for acclimation, segregation of certain fish, and have used them to house shrimp at times.  They allow for constant water flow from the main tank into the breeder box and then back into the main tank.

i have one of these, they are ok.

IMHO always think its best to separate sick fish in a separate QT, dependant on what suspected disease is.

I was thinking more injured fish giving them time to recover especially if you dont own a QT tank. well small fish any way.

But then you have the Water from the shop going in to the tank?? or am i wrong??

I use this after I acclimate to my water a bit in a different container.  I never let water from a shop or shipping bag go in my tanks.  This is a better way to acclimate the fish to the temperature of the main tank than floating the bag.  Plus it gives the other fish a chance to really get used to the main tank's water.  And this is only after I have already quarantined for a while in a separate container.

My primary use for them is to hold my brooding male wild bettas until they release fry or to fast juvie fish before shipping.
