Marimo Moss Balls

One of my moss balls is starting to look like its coming apart and unrolling from a ball shape.
How easy would it be to tie it to the little terracotta pot ive got?

It shouldn't be too hard. If it's anything like Java moss it's very easy to tie in place. Just use cotton thread. By the time it rots, the moss will have attached itself to the terracotta pot.
