Map Turtle - Pregnant?

Hi all,

I have 3 map turtles which i think are nearly 2 years old now. I'm not sure on what sex they are.

A couple of weeks ago it looked like they were mating (Although they do often sit on top of each others shell anyway)

I may sound stupid in thinking this - But i have now noticed one of the turtles has a HUGE tail. It is much much fatter than the other 2 turtles. Is this where eggs are stored? Or is there another reason for this?

Thanks for the response. Nothing mentions the tail being large i wonder if there is an issue and it's inflamed or something? Seems perfectly happy and healthy.
