Manzanita Wood?

Can you put it in your tank? I have been looking for a branch type wood for my tank and was out cutting bird perches and started to think. What do you think?

Thanks. I think before I try this out I am going to get a large rubbermaid and put a filter on it with the branchs and a couple feeder gf. I would hate to kill off my tank.
