well

i got up this morning and all tetras are there, the gourami is still seperated, so I know who the fish eater is, a trip back to the shop with the gourami this morning,

 and my litle tetras are now safe

thanks again :drink:

Wow, ive got two gouramis and bunches of tetras, they get along great.. ive never had a problem with even fin niping  should i remove the neons from the tank? cuz if one of em has to go its gona be the neons not the gouramis B)

It may depend on what kind of gouramis you have. Hers was a kisser (big). If you have dwarfs or honey reds, you are likely okay. There's probably no need to sound the alarm if you have mid-size gouramis like pearls or moonlights, either. I wouldn't leave neons with a kissing gourami or an opaline, though. Just my opinion.

I'm glad you're getting the problem sorted. This groups saves so much heartache
