Male Or Female?

Well the lfs people said it was a female blue paradise gourami but im not so sure. It's being very aggressive and chasing my male gold gourami all over the place whenever he comes out of his hiding spot.

I was thinking male to but ive never seen a female.

Probably a male. Pretty colorful, females are usually a bit pinkish or grey. Give 'em a few worms and see if he really colors up or if she grows a baby belly.

It's had a big belly ever since I got it. I think it might be bloated. I just sat here and watched them for a little bit and the gold came out and the blue just chased it right back in.

I just gave it some worms and it did turn a little pink.

For bloating you shouldn't feed for a few days to let the food pass.
