Dorsal fin is pointed on males, unless you get a clar pic it's not going to be possible from the pics

I dont have any better pictures, and I had to give my Nana her camera back, so can you give two pictures of a female and a male so I can compare?

Looks like a female to me! Not good since we named "him" Pippen!

I'd agree (although i still think its a dwarf, sorry, just my opinion) but whatever colisa ssp it is, IMHO its certainly female.
Anyhow Pippens a fine name (based on a book perchance?) male or female....
On the hybrid thread concerning the same gourami does (i think this is the correct number ) pic #3 show a horizontal stripe or is it just the light?

Yes her name was based on a book. J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of the Rings. But Pippen was a guy... That's ok though. And yes I believe that is a horizontal stripe.
