Nope, nobody can from photos.

Please tell me you don’t think that Siamese Tiger Fish is an Oscar...

Only based on pic#2, I'd say male if I look at the tips of both anal and dorsal fin.

Better photo hopefully attached

Each of them have a different set of genital features which can be determined by close observation of the anal area. Both have two holes. One is the anus and the other is the reproductive organ. In males, the sexual organ forms a small spike. In females, the organ is wider and more blunt because it is the tube where the eggs are released.

It’s quite common for two female cichlids to spawn together. One will lay eggs so you’ll see the big blunt ovipositor. The other will often just go through the motions, not being quite ready to spawn, so her ovipositor will be hardly extended and can look just like a male’s.

You can vent them to try to see the bigger hole, but a female who hasn’t spawned yet won’t have a stretched hole, so male and female will look almost identical. Venting only works 100% on mouthbrooders, who lay much bigger eggs.

The only way to sex an Oscar with certainty is to see it laying eggs or the big blunt ovipositor. And only if the eggs hatch, or are definitely fertile, do you know if the other one was male.
