Male Or Femal Blue Rams?

can anyone tell me the sex of these? I tried to get one of both (there were only 3 to choose from and the lady said she believe she gave me a male and female. One had been chasing another one like crazy).

Hopefully the pics are turned correctly. I tried to fix them.
These two keep nipping at eachother and I don't know if I should be concerned or not.
What if they are both female? Are they ok together? Can I have 1 male and 2 females? Or what about 2 pairs? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I think those are both females...but I'm a noob to rams so I'm not sure.

i was thinking both females too...but they are fighting, butting heads. lol. so i am not sure anymore. one was aggresive when I bought it. Guess I shouldn't have brought that one home...ugh.

They both look like females as they have the blue sheen on their black spot, and males have no blue sheen on their spot.

One has a pink belly and the other looks to be getting one so I would also think they're both females.

I couldn't have said which sex they were but I'd say they were both the same sex because of the sheen on the black spot that cambojnr mentioned

Agreed on both females.

Sometimes it's hard to tell, especially when still a bit young, but, females tend to appear to have blue over their largest black spot while males appear to have black painted over the blue.

The pink bellies are a dead give away as well as the relatively short 2nd and 3rd 'spines' on the dorsal fin.

They're not normally too aggressive so that should sort itself out once they have established who's the queen bee. Lots of cover is good too so as to break line of sight.

thanks! I have lots of coverage so they seem to be doing well. There coloring is much better now too
