Here are two photos of my Japanese Blue Grass Guppy. It is the same fish just different backgound. He's is slightly more than 3-months today. Tell me, which picture liken you most? Comments are always welcome to improve the strain, especially its colour and shape.

The green/blue background is probably the pretty of the two, although the focus is off slightly so the black background is the "better" picture. But, my, what a lovely little guppy you have there.

That is a handsome Guppy! I prefer the first picture, because it draws your attention directly towards the fish. I think trying a pure black background may look even better though. If you decide to try that, please post a picture.

Me too, first one as there is nothing else to see but the fish, black makes his colors look so sharp.

Thk you friends.

Yeah, I think a complete black background will make the fish outstanding as there's nothing else to see except the fish. Perhaps, the following photos will make you happy.

Now that picture truly shows off those colors! That is an amazing picture Noor! :good:

Friends, thank you.

I have about 30 blue and red grass males in two 20 gallons. The females are also in similar storage and about equal quantity. Yesterday, I selected 3 trios, 2 blues and 1 red and put them 3 breeding tanks. Am not sure whether these 3-month juveniles will give me true breeds just like their parents and I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will.

Here are the videos in YouTube. Appreciate it if you could give your comments.
