Hi this is my first thread. I'm a novice and this has got me stumped. I have read online that it could be swim bladder disorder and have put him into a breeding net at the top of my 450 ltr tank. I've tried feeding him peas as this is suggested online. It has not worked. Has anyone got any suggestions? I don't like to see my fish to suffer. Ph is 8.0 temp of top tank is 26°C and the sump is slightly warmer 28/29°C. Any suggestions, as I said are very welcome. Cheers.

Dave.

I had a guppy with the same thing. He passed in a week or so, but I think he was probably suffering. It might be best to euthanize him. :( I was told he had a intestinal disorder that wasn't contagious.

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

If you feed the fish a lot of dry food it might have air in its digestive tract. Don't feed it for a couple of days and see if it improves. If it doesn't then it probably is a swim bladder issue and the fish should be euthanized.
