Male Guppy Behaviour

I was watching my housemates tank and he has 8 male guppies and 8 male endlers (added later) and I noticed what I think was strange behaviour, one of the most brightly coloured guppies was being picked on (or so I thought) then I noticed not only the male guppies but the endlers too once they were added were going up to this one male and trying to use their gonopodium to impregnate him!

He chose for an all male tank to avoid having fry, plus more colourful.

Is this normal behaviour for an all male tank?

It's probably just them trying to assert their dominance. I notice that sort of behaviour between my male endlers and my male guppy. It should settle down once they've worked out who's boss
