Can a male betta live peacefully with Zebra Danios, Neon Tetra's, and possibly Guppys or are they an aggressive fish that will fight with the others? Also, can you have more than one betta in a tank or will they fight?

Edit: I forgot to add that I have a 29gallon Marineland Tank with Penguin 200 filtering system. It is currently going through a fishless cycle.

as long as your groups of danios and neons are big enough to reduce any nipping problems (as in them nipping the betta) a betta would be fine with them. It's not reccommended to keep a betta with guppies (or any fish with long, flowy fins) because they may mistake them for another male betta.

No, you should not keep a male betta with another male OR female betta however you can keep female bettas in groups of 5+.

Look in the betta section for a thread called Betta Fish Compatibility for ideas on what fish they are happy to live with. There are quite a lot of options :)
