They'd fight You can keep 4+ females together in a 10G + tank though. As long as there are 4 or more to spread out agression

Males and females cannot live together. When breeding, the sexual tension is increased by keeping the female visible to the male (in a separate container) until the male creates a bubble nest, and then she is released into the tank for the spawn and then removed again. They will fight otherwise.

one male and female (if breeding. ONLY for a few hours) two females will kill a male and 4+ females as stated above
