Malawi Cichlids Vs Angel Fish

Hi All

I've been offered two adult angel fish and just wondered if they will be compatible with my tank which contains eight Malawi Cichlids.

I have no idea about fish compatibility but if I am correct the Malawi cichlids use very hard and high pH water. If I got that right, it is almost the direct opposite of the water that you want for angels.

The angels wouldn't stand a chance with most Malawi cichlids due to aggression. What group are you keeping (mbuna, haps, peacocks)? The angels might be ok with peacocks, but I have my doubts.

I'm not sure what type they are but thanks for the advice, I'll decline the offer of the Angels
