I was wondering if it is as simple as it sounds to make your own frozen food. I'm intersted in freezing baby brine shrimp, as when I go away for work it will be easier for the family to feed the various fry I have going. I use finely crushed flake as well but like to through some BBS into the mix. So would I be able to hatch out the brine shrimp and just freeze them into cubes? Is it that simple?

That is very do-able. Freezing them would slow their metabolism causing them to pass out and not feel pain while diying.

When freezing them the container will be important. Anything like a well sealed zip lock or plastic container that is air tight.

There is a thread on here about how to do this properly.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to track down this topic.
