Make Your Own Dechlor.

I have just bought a powder which 100 grams treats 3136 litres. It Remove & de-toxify Ammonia, Chlorine & Chloramines.

So, how can i make this into a solution to use to treat water? I.e. can i dissolve it in 5L of water and use X ml per L for my aquariums? If so, how do i calculate the dilution rate?

Depends on your dilution, if it were me I'd put the crystals in a jug and top up with water to warm water to 1L, every 10ml's of solution would treat 31.36 litres.

Do you think the solution will keep ok? I figured it would depend on the dilution. So, if i take the 100g packet and mix with 1L of water in a bottle, then 10ml of the liquid does 30L of water. I could then use this for several months? The stuff is like powder rather than the crystals which i've used before...
