hope all are well,
Does anyone have any ideas on how to maintain a temperature in a one gallon tank. I am trying to treat my Betta who has ich amongst other things, but i need to keep the temperature constant at over 80 degrees. Any ideas? I will be forever greatful!

You'll have to purchase a very low-wattage heater for something that small -- this particular heater is 25W (thatpetplace.com), and is more than enough to heat a 1G container of water. For ich you're best bet is to keep the water temp at about 85 F. This speeds up the life cycle of ich and should help take care of the problem quicker.

Another option is a heating pad, placed on the lowest setting -
to set it up, first place a towel down - then the pad - then another towel (or two, if needed) - then set your fishbowl on top and CAREFULLY monitor the temp for the first few hours. Adjust the towel thicknesses, etc. based on your results.

Good luck.

They sell really small heaters around 8 watts . My local fish store has them. At www.DrsFosterSmith.com they sell another mini heater for 2-5 gallon tanks for $9.99 This is 7.5 watts.
