well i live in Manchester so i had a 30min drive to maidenhead aquatics planning on buying a female and male GBR when i got they had a tank full off lovely fish £25 a pair advertised as Apistogramma hongsloi i have never had appistos before so i was like should i buy these i don't really no much about them anyway i couldn't resist i thought my tanks very mature neutral pH they should be fine got them home and they look like cockatoo cichlids (Apistogramma cacatuoides) and i just payed £25 for a male and female i think i just got ripped off

The people in the shop had no info on them what so ever im gutted

i think that is a bit much, but you managed to get a pair which will up the price a bit

That place can be a bit on the pricey side! However stock is generally good.

My lfs sells a matched pair of Apistogramma cacatuoides for the same, £25.

I got a pair for £20 though using the shop's discount loyalty card. Well worth it and they look superb with a small shoal of Cardinal Tera
