Do I take it this company is selling Kilifish eggs?

Anyone know more about this?

Surely there is a welfare issue here.

There are sellers on eBay selling killifish eggs, from Thailand....I wouldn't buy them.

That is a very good question. Maybe its not the life of the fish but the shelflife of the eggs? Will read the other link given - that may have answers in it.

The site advertises the following Nothobranchius species (Killifish) They are all Africian annuals.
The following abv. are killifish nomaclature codes.
RAC, RAC(B), PAT, FOE, KOR, EGG and GUEN.
each one in turn
Nothobranchius rachovi
Nothobranchius rachovi (Black)
Nothobranchius patrizii
Nothobranchius foerschi
Nothobranchius korthausae
Nothobranchius eggersi
Nothobranchius guentheri.
I would suggest against purchasing such gimmics as there is much more to hatching and rearing the above than the site literature would have you believe.
For the novice I would only recommend GUE and PAT as those fry are the only ones that are really large enough upon hatching to readily accept newly hatched brineshrimp. The others are too small and will need Infusoria/Paramecium for a few days.
