Thought you might find this amusing -
me on the phone to a lfs just now......conversation went like this....

" Hi, do you have any siamese fighting fish in"

"Yes"

"Are they all veil tails or do you have any other types?"

"Er, sorry I think we only have males at the moment"

Somehow I don't think I'll be asking for any advice from that guy!

start talking tail types to them and they pale visibly..just throw in the words red dragon or cambodian or plakat really a good laugh

Indeed, although it was worse than just funny when a wholesaler sent one lfs a job lot of juvie male PKs (pretty though, all pink and white) as a sub-species of betta that was peacuful... Yeah mate, have fun when they're older...
