Lyretail Swords And Male Guppies

I saw some absolutely beautiful lyretail swords the other day but they are big, with very long fins. Do you think there would be aggression issues either way? The man in the shop was not prepared to commit either way as he has not kept them himself (which I thought was fair enough!) so just wondering if anyone has any experience with this combination of fish.

Hmmm, sorry i didnt see this thread before! I woujld say a No go. Male swords never got along with my guppies. Also, those big fins could get messed with.

Got some pregnant LyreTail Swordtails at moment> Have very long Fins and a deep orange colour..
Hoping them to drop fry soon...
