I just came home from work and as I turned on the tank lights for one of my 10 gallons I noticed that the red neon lyretail swordie girl looked a whole bunch skinnier than she did when I left last night. Sure enough a moment later I saw a little spot dart across the tank against the flow of the filter. An hour later I had rounded up 25 little babies, but the most incredible part is - 13 of them are either black or are going to be tuxedo marked!!! This girl came from the store prenant so I had no idea what to expect, but if you are familiar with my long running quest to have black swordtails then you'd understand why the last thing I expected was to have her drop a bakers dozen of little black fry! Combined with Nicky's babies from last week I now have 24 little black (or possibly tuxedo) babies. I feel like dancing!

I only have the one older black swordy..2 of my others died 
I have like 8 orange ones though. Seems the orange ones do better...maybe the black ones cant blend in as good and get eaten quicker before I find them.
