hi, i have a gourami with white lumps on either side of his fin at top. he also developing puffy eye, we have ut him in hospital tank and added bacteria meds until someone tells us what it is... looks like small boney lumps same place each side.

The lumps on the fins do they look like a cauliflower or cluster of berries.
Do the lumps look hard or soft like filled with puss.
Any redness to the lump.

Does the bone thing you say look like a parasite, Does it have a forked tail.
You will need to add a bacterial med for the popeye and not melafix.
I would try and load a pic up as not quite sure what you mean.

Never heard of that med before.
Does the med work in warmer temps as it for goldifsh which are coldwater fish.
I would remove the med with a water change and run some black carbon.
Then treat with anti internal bacteria med by interpet.
If the lump is a tumour there no cure.

The med won't do a thing on the lump. It will stay the same or grow bigger.
