Quick question how long after this may I put new fish in? I heard if there are no fish in tank the ich parasite dies is this true. Please advice. As I dont want to run my tank empty to long. Is it nessacery to boost temprature to 32 degrees celsius.

If you have ammonia add 2ppm of that to your tank everyday for you bacteria to survive, and turn you temp up to 31 degrees celsius i think and leave it for a week our 2 to be sure, although I may be wrong.

Id say, turn temp up to speed up the parasites metabolism then treat with a course of itch treatment as this kills the parasite. As stated, dose with ammonia to keep your bacteria going until you finish the course of treatment is what id suggest but im no expert!!
