Do a large water change (again, 90-95%) after the second ich treatment is complete, before starting fungus treatment.

I would recommend not using the Iterpet No. 8 anti-fungal and anti-bacterial treatment: apparently the active ingredient is an anaesthetic (or so I have heard), and I can't see how that would help with the problem.

(It would be best for the Corys if you keep all 6 or take back all 6, they do not do as well in smaller groups and their behaviour changes.)

2 are albino and very happy together (jim and bob) they are also smaller (and fully grown) and i could add to their group. the other 4 are peppered, the oldest are quite large now, these are the ones to go with their two babies. jim and bob are quite tame and have lovely characters, they eat well and do their occasional flips to the top for a snatch of air. i think i wont get anymore anything until i get a quarantine tank...
i wonder what is a good anti fungal treatment then, i always just go for interpet but i dont want to zonk my fish!

I use eSHa 2000, it is expensive, but has always worked very well for me and does not (noticeably) affect the filter. Yes, it does tend to make the water luminous for a while.

i feel like these with fungal infection need help now. can i add 'primafix anti fungal fish remedy all natural' ? they just had whitespot treatment (interpet) yesterday. will it interfere?

water quality all back to good levels, liquid tests ordered and white spot mostly gone from fish only one or two spots left so happy with that

Firstly, the Primafix never did anything for my fish, but it apparently works for some people.

Secondly, most medications can not be mixed. You should complete the treatment, as per instructions, before starting another one. The whitespot is in the water, not only on the fish: you need to make sure you kill off all which is in the water (after it is on the fish, it will go into the water). So you need to make sure there is still whitespot treatment in the water after there are no spots on the fish. The large post-treatment water changes are needed to remove medication from the water and remove the remaining whitespot.
