I got a wonderful zoa frag from a new LFS I found recently (with the best softies I've seen locally...got some loose shrooms tossed in with the frag to diversify my mushroom collection too :hey: ) and there was so much growth that the polyps were starting to grow off of the rock onto...well...themselves. -_- A few of those polyp-on-polyp clumps have now detached and I've got a few bunches of of 5-10 polyps loose in the tank now. Should I make any attempt to anchor these to the rocks, or will they be ok do drift and settle down on their own? I'm aware of the palytoxin issue so I was hesitant to try to stick 'em down with something like I do with my shrooms. There is nothing in the tank that they could get smashed or otherwise injured by as far as I can tell, so I've just been letting them drift for the moment. I would like them to settle faster though if it's possible, so they open up quicker and look nice lol.

I got individual polyps and a group that fragged themselves. I have left them free floating and the last month has seen them wondering all over the tank. They are now settled in nice locations so from experience I would let them do their own thing for now.

Regards
