Looking To Upgrade - Help Please

Thanks for all your replies guys ...think ive made my mind up on the fluval 240 ..hopefully going to look at some this weekend ....

Now the big question ..what to stock with ..

ps..i know i need to cycle the tank first but its fun to plan ahead and think what i can get

A good choice. I love my Fluval 200 (would love to have the 240), it's great quality and hasn't falted at all really yet. It will be interesting to see what filtration comes with the tank, as you may need to invest in extra filtration if you want to keep a healthy stocking but keep the water conditions impeccable.

As for stocking, well the possibilities are many! Are you interested in community fish? Cichlids? Or maybe something a little different?

I popped out yesturday and seen a Fluval Vicenza 180 and really like the look of it. Especially the curved glass! Has anyone had any experience with them? Good or Bad.
With regards to stocking still really cant decide. I originally was looking at a community setup but still not 100% sure!

Stocking is entirely personal. I have a tropical community in my fluval Venezia 190 and love it. I am also running a Fluval External filter although mine is a 204 model and not the normal one that comes with it. If you go for Malawi Cichlids or something like that, then you may need to increase the filtration a bit as they can be very messy and this would be the same for some other Species tanks. A moderate stock of community tropicals should be absolutely fine with the standard filter you get in the Fluval Kit.

Hiya.I am leaning more towards the venezia at the moment - can i ask what stock you have got in yours?
