Hello everyone!

I am what I consider to be still a beginner in the community tank scene. I did have a small 10 gallon community tank I put together for my daughter a few years back, but we gave the fish away when we moved houses. Our new place has enough space for a much larger tank and we are now thinking about going to a 50 or 60 gallon community tank.

I am joining the forum to help read up on what others are doing and to get advice as to what will endup being the best options for my new tank. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Welcome to the forum! :fish::hi::fish:

Welcome, I have a 55 gallon tank and think it is a great size, just right for what I want to do. It gives you the room to do many more things than smaller tanks without taking over a room in your house.

Welcome to our little group ! This is a good bunch of very knowledgeable aquarists here. Everyone is almost always in agreement and each member adds something rather than muddying the waters. There are specialists in certain fish, plant people and some very smart old time fish keepers. I bumbled upon this group last May and had one Betta in a tiny little mini "aquarium ". They corrupted me and now I'm up to 4 tanks with plans for 2 more in January. Enter at your own risk :).
