Its hard to tell without the other plants around or it near/infront or in the tank to compare but if you don't use the one of the pieces I would happily buy it.
You need to think about how your plants are going to be placed in relation based on the rules people have mentioned above. I am amature at the tank thing but have worked with design/art and engineering over the last 6 years so have a basic idea.
I am currently struggling with what you have mastered in the terms of getting plants to grow although I think a little is down to trying plants that need medium/high light and I have just about low light.
I would make sure you know what your plants are, how they grow and what you expect. Some times although one plant may be taller when it finishes growing it could take 3x as long as another which ends up slightly smaller so you have to think about how the plant grows over time as well as the end product otherwise you want see all your plants.
You could do a straight swap with the u-boat and first piece of bogwood. Move the centre plant about 15cm to the right (facing the tank). The plants that are on the left central as they are smaller and the ones which are currently at the back to the right to the left hand side. This would give you a 'V' shape with a focal point just to one side of the 'V' being the bogwood.
I can only picture this in my head and may need tweaking just to get the basic idea but it works around the golden rules, keeps you current plants which you can then swap for similar size but may preffer something else and see how it goes from there.
As I said only my idea with what I would do but you have some great healthy plants I am jelous off.
Take some photos as you go and keep asking as you are putting it back together. People who know more than me may be able to give you a better idea on exactly which plant where but don't forget to express yourself.
Kind Regards,
Adam
