Looking For Really Really Good Zombie Movies

Seriously? I saw commercials for it way back in the begining of the year, but nothing for theatres. All it said things like "coming to DVD soon".

28 days later+ weeks later are the best zombie films. Resident evil 1,2,3 are also really good, but unless u actually understand whats happened to the character etc...all you'll be thinking is "wow fake much?"

which is why it is best,imho, to watch them in a marathon session, one after the other

I watched Diary of the Dead recently (The George Romero) one, what cr*p, as far as i am concerned Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead were class, best zombie films ever for me, then Land of the Dead began Romero's apparent decline into "cr*p" films! Just my taste, other's may beg to differ!

I cant recall if i contributed to this thread already and a bit lazy to scroll back....

But i loved Resident Evil 1, all the other's have disappointed me (some good bits, but no way as good as the original for me)

There's a lesser known film called the "Zombie Diary" or "Zombie Diary's", British, quite liked that one actually.

If you want a laugh, try Flight of the Living Dead, very funny!

Yes, forgot about 28 Days Later, thought that was excellent, was disappointed with the sequel.

The remake of Dawn of the Dead..... quite enjoyed it, prefer the original though....

Just discovered there is a 2008 re-make of Romero's "Day of the Dead" but having watched the You Tube clip it's not really based on the original, and seems very "action" as opposed to "action and "suspense" which is what i like with Romero's original work

the re-make of Day of the Dead is shockingly bad, i now understand why it went straight to video (i think in the US atleast thats what happened)

It's horrendous, ranks as one of the all time rubish films for me, not just bad zombie film, bad film full stop
