I have several attractive males and am looking into breeding as a hobby. I've done a ton of research and plan on breeding my crown tail male first. I havent found out how to load pictures of my betas yet however hes a dark blue to black with blue florsents with yellow fins that fan out to be black tipped and florsent streaked. He's a pretty one and I'd like to find a black and/or yellow crown female to breed with him. I'm aware both colors are rare. If anyone has any ideas as where to get one locally (melbourne, fl) or online from a reputable site I'd love a point in the right direction. ty

my profile pic is the male I'm talking about, the areas on his fins that are close to his body are actually a dark yellow... not the best pic... just a snapshot from my phone

Melbourne? Cool!
I live near Melbourne and sometimes go to the one in Vic market. They have probably the biggest range of fish I've ever seen. They also have reptiles and amphibians and stuff. They always have female bettas there.

I think it's called up market aquariums but it might be something else...

You seem to have posted this in two places, I have answered you here.

TT, I think (correct me if I am wrong) tabbycat is in the US, not Australia ;)
