Don't know anything about killies but came across a picture of Micromoema xiphophora that looks very much like yours. Hope it helps

Well done iSnail, thats it, I looked at the British Killi assoc site and missed it. I saw a few images of it and I am pretty certain that is it.

Hi BigC I got them at my local little lfs, I usually only get live food there but I saw these and another South American killie, the shop guy said a fishkeeper sold them to him. I have one female of this species and two of the other one. Both types seem to need months of dry warm egg keeping before hatching so I dont see myself trying to breed them.
