I had a Botia Striata (although then it was called Botia Strigatus) which lived for many years....lost count of the number of times I thought he was dead or missing!!!
Are longest resident, is an Albino Cory. I think he/she is about 2 years old. My BN pl*co, female she not that much younger than the cory, she was about half an inch when we balt her she is now almost 3 inchs, and I considering breeding from her.
I've had my zebra danios the longest, 9 weeks now. Although I dont like them , I feel they are using up tank space that could be used by other more interesting things! lol
Well, I have to back 30 years in time, but I'd have to say my fist black female swordtail. I had her for 4 1/2 years. She was one of the first inhabitants of my tank way back then and also the last. After she died I shut down my tank and stopped fish keeping until last year. Of my current crew, it would be my marigold wag female swordtail "Meri" and 2 of my paleatus corys who all came to live with me last July.
