Long Red Poop On My Gourami

my honey gourami has a long strand of red poop hanging out...he seems perfectly healthy, but could there be something wrong?

i dunno cuz whenever (rarely) i seen a turd hangin off a healthy fish, it was a misty grey-white colour.

same mine just keeps pooing is this a sign of overfeeding because my missus has been feeding them while ive been away?

also my nirite has spiked but not ammonia

Are you feeding him food that is red, usually food with colourants will come out the same colour, a pic would be good.

Have you fed bloodworm recently? It comes out red.

lol red poop if you feed them blood worms.

my gouramia usualy poo a rainbow it was whity green (algy wafer i tink) then red (blood worms) then brown ( flakes and pellets)

i only realy feed him flaks and pellets coz it look unnatural

well his flake food is red..i suppose that explains it..i was just concerned that it might have been a parasite or something..
ps...i have 15 newborn guppies
first time fry-owner..wish me luck
