My betta is in a 30Litre tank all by himself as he kept flaring up and chancing the 3 corries who were in there with him. Now I have moved them out the tank he seems lonely and inactive. He normally just sits on the sand or near the surface and will only eat small amounts. What can I do to cheer him up?
Thanks

Have you got plants in there? They like to lounge on leaves.
I have heard that showing them their reflection in a mirror a few times a week is good, but I've never done this with mine and he seems perfectly happy just pottering about

Yer he has a good mix of real and fake plants in there which he hides under the larger leaves. I have done the mirror thing before but not recently, I'll try that and see.

Turns out he must have been sick from when I bought him as he has now died but the water params were fine.
