Went to local MA at lunch, asked for 30 neons for £30, they all seem to be doing this deal at the moment, the guy couldn't be bothered to count them so did two scoops and said "that looks like 30 to me!" I laughed and said "ok cool".

Ended up with 61 of them! argh! That certainly brings the tank to life

Picked up some Sulawesi Snails the other day too, funky looking things!

Suppose i best get some more plants and sort this tank out a bit.

Wow the snail is very funky. Never really been a snail fan, but that one is quickly changing my mind. Good catch with the neons lol

nice one on the neons, i have had that before (not ended up with 60 though!). The more you want, the more they can't be bothered to count.

The snail is creepy and cute. Since everyone seems to suggest adding things to fix tank problems, throw in an angelfish or two for those neons!

my local MA was doing 10 for fiver a while ago - got 20 when that was on.

....I thought those snails liked to munch plants?

Seems they like dying leaves so far! They have been nibbling at my Vallis.

Haha brilliant! Bet that guy loses MA a fair bit of money doing that, given that that many neons should have cost over £60! They look very happy though.

That snail is odd never seen one before, how big are they?

Couple of inches at the moment! Pretty cool little things.

I doubt Neons cost the lfs much money to be honest. They had 3 tanks of them so its not a wonder they have a deal on. They buy them in cheap, sell them cheap. Its something you can give to a customer and make them feel good and not lose much if any money by doing it.

Yeah I suppose, and it'll keep customers going back to them instead of going elsewhere I imagine.

Do the snails get much bigger?
