My 100l (approx 20 gallon) tank is a bit bottom-heavy at the mo. I have three Pakistani (yo-yo) loaches and an albino bristlenose catfish. I'm looking for a colourful, active (red?) fish that would swim in the top/middle levels. Would some rosy or cherry barbs mix well with my loaches. Or would they just wind each other up?!!
I also have a few tetras (two glowlights and four silver-tips, had more of each orginally, they were among my first fish). Two Siamese Algae Eaters (who are really fat and don't eat algae any more!) I could rehome with a friend if necessary to make room for a decent-sized shoal of barbs.
